A main difference is that while this older page features video files linked individually down the page - with broken links appearing over time - on the new page they are all included in a single large playlist window.

Formed in 1993, Melbourne, Australia. Tedium (aka. TDM) has always been an independent self-produced-released-promoted project with Peter Haren as the mastermind. Their best known track might be Fast, an infectious piece of uplifting electro-rock that was featured on the daily playlist of national Australian radio station Triple J in 2002. The project began, however, as early-industrial (experimental) music with confronting theatrical performance art; see videos below. This was showcased on the first album Electronik Love Songs for the Mediocre at Heart (1994). By the second album, Simple Life (1997), higher production and refined song-writing had come to the fore; an electro-rock-industrial style. The track "No You" became well-known locally (and deserved to be much better known). The third album Nothing Final (2001) displayed a further refinement, moving towards sophisticated electronica-rock and the use of acoustic instruments; excellent song-writing that hints at influences like Placebo and David Bowie. The project was discontinued mid-'00s. Though in 2011 a compilation called Keep it Kleen was released and in 2012 Tedium announced that new recordings are due to be released.
